Accused of murder, robbery case arrested for stealing fish at Gafargaon

An accused in a murder and robbery case named Bachchu Mia (50) has been caught by the mob while fishing in a fishery in Gafargaon of Mymensingh. Later, the agitated crowd handed him over to the police. The incident took place on the last night of Saturday at Dighir Par village of Panchbagh union under Pagla police station of the upazila.
According to local sources, there is a murder case and a robbery case against Bachchu Mia, son of late Innach Mia of Dighir Par village in Panchbagh union of Pagla police station of the upazila. On Saturday night, while Bachchu was stealing fish in the fishery of Shafiqul Islam of the same village, the locals grabbed him by the hand and gave him a good-medium. When the Pagla police arrived at the spot, they handed over Bachchu to the police. Later, the police treated Bachchu at the Upazila Health Complex and took him to the police station. A case has been filed at Pagla police station for stealing fish
Pagla Police Station Officer-in-Charge Rasheduzzaman said there was an earlier murder case and a robbery case in Bachchu's name. Another case of fish theft has been registered. He has been sent to Mymensingh court by this case.
