11 gamblers arrested in Bhuiyapur

Bhuiyapur Police arrested 11 gamblers in Bhuiyapur, Tangail.
Police members accompanied by Police Sub-Inspector Shariful Islam, SI Mamun and SI Rubel arrested them from the bus stand area of the upazila on Saturday night. Later, the arrested were sent to Tangail District Jail on Sunday.
The arrested are Rubel (35), son of Minhaj of Ghatandi village in the upazila, Manjurul (43), son of Habibur, Manik (38), son of Ikin Ali of Kagmaripara village, Farid Mia (25), son of Nurul Islam, Latif (45), son of Kanchu of Gobindasi, Alamin (42), son of deceased Solaiman of Kukadair, Shipon (24), son of Maqbul of Barkatpur, Mamun Sarkar (45), son of deceased Yakub of Kuthiboyra village, Shahidul (35), son of deceased Azgar of Degree Char, Golap (45), son of Abul Member of Joynagar of Gopalpur upazila, and Ashraful Islam (38), son of Delwar Hossain of Pingna village of Sarishabari upazila of Jamalpur district.
Police Station OC AKM Rezaul Karim said that 11 gamblers were arrested from the Bhuiyapur bus stand area based on a secret tip-off. Later, after the legal process, he was sent to jail by a learned court.
