As part of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s central program, the Sudarganj Unit. of Jamaat.organized a protest rally on Friday after Asr prayer, from Gala Kadria Mosque.
The rally marched through the main streets of Sudarganj town. Prior to the rally, they held a brief meeting at the outside Gala intersection.
The meeting was chaired by the Sudarganj Upazila Jamaat Secretary, Samiul Islam.
The main speakers included. Deputy Ameer of the District Jamaat, Prof Majdur Rahman, the Upazila Jamaat Ameer Prof Shahidul Islam, Assistant Secretary of the Labour Welfare Federation’s central committee, Almgeer Hasan, former Mayor Nurunnabi Pramanik Saju, Principal Ekramul Haque, and Hafiz Shafiqur Rahman.
