In Amtali, the accused in 16 fraud cases, hypocrite Darvesh Farooq Howladar and neo-Muslim Rafiqul Islam, have been arrested.

Amtali police arrested Farooq and his accomplice in the clueless cheating case on Thursday morning with the help of information technology. At that time, 65 grams of gold ornaments and twelve lakh thirteen thousand taka were recovered from them.

It has been reported that former UP member Farooq Howlader is the son of Kader Howlader of Dakshin Dhamura village of Ujirpur upazila of Barisal district. He is known as the dervish of the area. Farooq has been deceiving different areas of the country by dressing up as a hypocrite dervish.

Ten years ago he took Vipul Hawladar as his partner. He allegedly changed his name to Rafiqul Islam after dressing him as a non-Muslim. Later Farooq Hawladar's father's name and his father's name combined with the national ID card. After that they have been deceiving Hindus and Muslims in various ways. On December 27, Shiuli Rani, the childless sister of Mithun Ghosh, a school teacher in Amtali town, was tricked into having a child by 24 gold ornaments. In this incident, Mithun Ghosh filed a case against unknown accused at Amtali police station last Wednesday. The police, led by SI Azizur Rahman of Amtali police station, identified the fraudster former UP member Md Farooq Howladar with the help of information technology. With the help of Uzirpur police, a raid was conducted at the house of fraudster Farooq on Thursday morning.

Later, he and his non-Muslim brother Rafiqul Islam were arrested from their house. At that time, according to the information given by them, 65 grams of alleged gold ornaments and 13 thousand taka were recovered from his house. Police brought them to Amtali police station that afternoon. There are 16 fraud cases against fraudster Farooq Howladar and 4 cases against Rafiqul Islam in different police stations. Their interrogation continues. It should be noted that the other name of Muslim Rafiqul Islam is Vipul Howladar . His father's name is Prafulla Howlader.

Mithur Ghosh, the plaintiff in the case, said that fraudster Farooq and Vipul Haldar took 24 gold ornaments to my childless sister Shiuli Rani with the hope of having a child. I filed a case at Amtali police station. Police have arrested two fraudsters with the help of information technology.

Md Ajizur Rahman, investigating officer of the SI case of Amtali police station, said that the fraudster Farooq Howladar and his accomplice Rafiqul Islam have been arrested with the help of information technology in an unsolved fraud case. He also said that Farooq is known as the dervish of the area. He cheats people and steals millions of rupees and gold ornaments. Former UP member Farooq Hawladar has been cheating under the guise of Dervish.

Amtali Police Station OC Md. Ariful Islam Arif said that 65 grams of alleged gold ornaments and 1.2 lakhs and 1.3 thousand takas were recovered during raids at the house of fraudster Farooq Howladar.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (Amtali-Taltali) Circle Md Ruhul Amin said that two members of an active fraud ring have been arrested.
