The 53rd Bangladesh National School, Madrasa and Technical Educational Institutions Winter Sports Competition district-level event ended with the distribution of prizes in Chapainawabganj.

On Monday afternoon, prizes were distributed among the winners at the closing ceremony organized by the District Education Office at the old stadium in the district town. The closing ceremony, chaired by District Education Officer (Acting) Md. Abdul Matin, was attended by the guests - Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Md. Tariqul Islam, Additional Superintendent of Police (promoted to the post of Superintendent of Police) Md. Abul Kalam Shahid. The event was jointly moderated by Md. Mainul Islam, assistant teacher of Fulkuri Islamic Academy, and Md. Shahnaz Parvin, assistant teacher of Kamal Uddin Girls High School.

Also present were - Md. Abdul Ahad, head teacher of Fulkuri Islamic Academy, Upazila Secondary Education Officer (Sadar) Md. Amirul Islam, Upazila Secondary Education Officer (Nachol) Md. Dulal Uddin Khan, Assistant Inspector of District Education Office Md. Mustafizur Rahman, Assistant Inspector Md. Rakibul Islam, Assistant Inspector Md. Fazle Rabbi, DTC Md. Rashedul Arman, Research Officer Md. Mesba Uddin, Assistant Programmer Md. Mamunur Rashid, and heads of various educational institutions.

In this district-level sports competition, students (boys and girls) from schools, madrasas, and technical educational institutions in 5 upazilas, including the district headquarters, participated in various events including cricket, volleyball, table tennis, hockey, basketball, and high jump.
