UNO distributes blankets to poor in remote Rakhalgachi pastures in Goalando

The Goalando Upazila administration has distributed winter clothes (blankets) among 170 poor and helpless families in the Rakhalgachi area of Goalando Upazila in Rajbari.
Saturday at around 12 o'clock Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nahidur Rahman and Upazila Assistant Commissioner Bhumi Md. Asaduzzaman himself went and distributed these blankets in the remote grasslands of Kushahata. The orphans, the elderly, the disabled, and others who were left behind in the pastures were on the list to receive blankets in this bone-chilling winter.
The cold people of Durgam Char expressed their joy at getting new blankets. Kulchum Begum, Hamida Akhtar, Barek Sheikh, Shukur Alir, residents of Kushahata received blankets.
More than one and a half hundred coolies also have a smile on their face.
Shamela Bibi, an old woman who came to collect blankets, said, 'My husband died ten years ago, I live in a house with one son. I can't do any work. A family of need. I don't have money, so I couldn't buy kapur-chupur in winter. Thirst is very difficult in winter at night. The blanket was very helpful. May Allah keep UNO sir well.
Goalando Upazila Executive Officer. Nahidur Rahman said, under the direction of the Deputy Commissioner, the Goland Upazila administration is consistently distributing winter clothes to various areas including the grazing areas in this bone-chilling Konkan winter. In continuation of this, we are happy to stand by the people of the remote Kusahata Charanchal area on Saturday. We will continue this effort.
