Three including AL leader arrested in Operation Devil Hunt in Rupganj

Three people, including an Awami League leader, have been arrested in an operation by the police in Operation Devil Hunt. They were arrested in the Rupganj police station area on Wednesday night. Among those arrested, a case of attack and murder has been filed against them in the anti-discrimination student movement.
The information was confirmed by Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police (C Circle) Mehedi Islam of Narayanganj District Police. He said that the police have arrested three people from the Rupganj police station area in Operation Devil Hunt operation in Rupganj in Narayanganj. Among those arrested, a case of attack and murder has been filed against them in the anti-discrimination student movement.
The arrested are: Asif Dewan (21), father-Md. Mukul Dewan, mother-Liza Begum, arrested in a case related to the anti-discrimination student movement, Sang-Hirnal Daudpur Awami League worker, Zakir Hossain (43), father-late Shamsul Hossain Bhuiyan, Sang-Dakshinbagh Rupganj Union 03 Ward Awami League worker, Md. Saikat Mia (24), father-Shamsu Mia, Sang-Gutiyar Rupganj Union 09 Ward Awami Sechchhasebak League leader.
