A grand reception was accorded to Sarfaraz Ahmed Sharfu, former working secretary of London BNP and Coordinator of Arafat Rahman Koko Cricket Memorial Tournament and former Srimangal College Chhatra Dal leader, in Srimangal on the occasion of his return to the country after long 17 years of fascist Awami League regime.

The reception was organized by the former and current Chhatra Dal leaders of Srimangal at the Railway Station area of the town at 3 pm on Wednesday.

Chaired by former Upazila Chhatra Dal President Niyamul Haque and moderated by former General Secretary Syed Salauddin, Moulvibazar District Jubo Dal President and former student leader Zakir Hossain Ujjal were present as invited guests.

The speakers said, Sarfu stayed in London for 17 years and played a leading role in implementing all the programs against fascist Hasina. His mother was arrested by intelligence agency people for implementing the program there. His house was attacked. During the Corona pandemic, Sarfu distributed PP and relief with the help of the people on behalf of the acting chairman of BNP. The people of this area will never forget this cooperation of Sarfu.

At that time, Sarfu said in his speech that he could not attend his father's funeral because he was in London for 17 years. He said that the acting chairman of the party said that the next election will be the most difficult election. Therefore, everyone should forget all the groupings and work for the one who will bring the paddy sheaf symbol in the Moulvibazar-4 constituency in the next election and snatch victory.

Abdus Shaheed has not done any work in this constituency for the past 30 years after being elected from the Awami League. He has only looted. Now he is in jail. He called on everyone to make the paddy sheaf candidate win for the betterment of the people of this area.
