Police still realising bribes: Sarjis

July Shaheed Smrity Foundation General Secretary Sarjis Alam has blamed a section of policemen for taking bribes from people in the name of providing services.
“Hundreds of police officers are still taking bribes while sitting at police stations,” Sarjis wrote in a post on his verified Facebook account on Saturday.
“How can you bring reform without punishing the shameless people who contain corruption in their blood? Simply transferring them? Ridiculous…” said Sarjis, also a key coordinator of the Atnti-Discrimination Student Movement.
