No more autocracy, fascism will be allowed to rise in Bangladesh : Pir Saheb Charmonai

Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim said, the people of Bangladesh want liberation. In the span of 53 years, those who came to power have only deceived the people. Bangladesh wants to be free from extortion, terrorism, corruption, enforced disappearances and killings, autocracy, and fascism.
First there must be justice for the genocide, then reform will come, then elections may be considered—and that election must be held under the Proportional Representation (PR) system, because no more autocracy, no more fascism will be allowed to rise in Bangladesh.
This rally was organized by Islami Andolan Bangladesh, Pirojpur District Branch, at the Central Shaheed Minar premises in Pirojpur at 1 pm on Thursday.
At the time, he further said, where there is genuine concern over human rights violations, the United Nations is not to be found. Yet in Bangladesh—where there is no need for any foreign office to safeguard human rights—they want to open one. This is an interference in our sovereignty.
He also said, we do not want any UN human rights office in Bangladesh. Our state has its own constitution, judiciary, Human Rights Commission, and a conscious population. Foreign interference in internal affairs will not be tolerated. Establishing such an office may disrupt the country’s internal stability.
The rally was presided over by District President Maulana Muhammad Yahya Howlader and conducted by District Secretary Muhammad Monirul Hasan. The chief guest was Islami Andolan Bangladesh’s Ameer, Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Pir Saheb Charmonai).
Special guest speech was delivered by Islami Andolan Bangladesh’s Barisal Divisional Organizing Secretary, Vice Principal Maulana Sirajul Islam.
Other speakers were Islami Andolan Bangladesh Pirojpur District Branch Senior Vice President Alhaj Nazrul Ahsan, Islami Youth Movement Bangladesh Pirojpur District Branch General Secretary Muhammad Hafizul Islam, President of the National Olama Mashayekh and A’imma Parishad Pirojpur District Branch Maulana Rafiqul Islam, Islami Chhatra Andolan Bangladesh Pirojpur District Branch President Muhammad Tarikul Islam, General Secretary Muhammad Ariful Islam Adif, President of Government Suhrawardy College Pirojpur Branch Muhammad Muhibullah Howlader, and other district and upazila leaders.
