Morelganj (Bagerhat) Correspondent

A view exchange meeting was held on Tuesday at 11:00 am in the conference hall of Morelganj Upazila Parishad with the newly appointed Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Habibullah.

The meeting, organized by the upazila administration and it was attended by officials from government and non-government offices, political leaders, journalists, representatives of civil society, and distinguished individuals from various professions. Officials, employees from different departments, and local residents welcomed the newly appointed UNO with flowers.

Speakers at the meeting included Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mohammad Badruzzaman, Upazila Engineer Ariful Islam, Municipal BNP Convener Shikdar Faridul Islam, Member Secretary Principal Jahangir Al Azad, Upazila General Secretary of Islami Andolon Maulana Asadullah, Upazila Ameer of Jamaat Maulana Shahadat Hossain, and Simon Zion, spokesperson for the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement in Bagerhat, among other political, social, and educational figures.

In his speech, the newly appointed UNO, Habibullah said, the administration will be run with transparency and accountability in development and public service. I will work sincerely to move Morelganj forward with everyone's cooperation."

The attending leaders and guests welcomed the UNO and expressed their commitment to working together for the development and problem-solving of Morelganj.

At the end of the discussion, a collective pledge was made to work unitedly for the overall development of the upazila, and the meeting concluded in a cordial atmosphere.
