
Body recovered from closed shop in Srinagar

Srinagar police recovered a dead body from a closed shop in the Dhaisara area of Srinagar upazila, Munshiganj on Tuesday morning.
Locals informed Srinagar police after seeing the body of Rafiqul Alam Bulu (55), son of the late Paban Majhi from Mushuripara, Srinagar, Munshiganj, lying on the floor beside a bed inside a rented shop owned by Lavlu Hasan.
According to local sources, Rafiqul Alam Bulu had rented the shop intending to sell vegetables. However, after selling vegetables for only two to three days, he stopped his business and began residing inside the shop, sleeping on a bed. It is reported that he led an unregulated lifestyle and was involved in drug use. For the past two to three days, locals noticed that the shop remained closed. Upon lifting the shutter, they found him dead on the floor.
Srinagar Police Station OC Shakil Ahmed said, body was sent to Munshiganj for an autopsy, and necessary legal actions are being taken.
