An awareness rally and leaflet distribution campaign to prevent dengue was organized in Bamna, Barguna at the initiative of the BNP Vice Chairman Nurul Islam Moni Foundation.
The event took place in the town center of Bamna Upazila, led by Bamna Upazila BNP Convener Engineer Abul Kalam Azad Rana on Thursday.
Engineer Abul Kalam Azad Rana said, “Dengue has now turned into an epidemic in Barguna district. To stay safe, we must be aware and keep our yards and surroundings clean. If anyone is infected, they should not panic but contact the nearest hospital and take medication as per the doctor’s advice. If the condition becomes serious, you can call the emergency helpline 333 for consultation.”
