
BNP practices people's politics, not power politics: Chandan

A.H.M. Obaidur Rahman Chandan, Assistant Organizing Secretary of the BNP Central Committee, said that BNP engages in people's politics, not power politics.
“If we did, we would have been a part of this government. Democracy wouldn't have been endangered. We do not seek to come to power through the back door,” he stated.
He made these remarks on Friday at 5:30 PM during a views-exchange meeting with current and former public representatives from Kalai, Khetlal, and Akkelpur upazilas, held at Swapnochhaya Community Center on Station Road in Joypurhat town.
He further added, “We have taken to the streets with our 31-point demand. We are planning for job creation, the development of farmers and students, and also ensuring women’s safety. It is every party activist’s duty to ensure that people can live in peace.”
Golzar Hossain, Convener, Joypurhat District BNP,M.A. Wahab, Joint ConvenerAbu Raihan Uzzal Pradhan, General Secretary, City BNP along with many others were present.
