Jamaat working to achieve teachers' rights: Nuruzzaman Liton

Rajshahi District Jamaat-e-Islami Assistant Secretary and Jamaat-e-Islami's party MP candidate from Rajshahi-5 (Puthia-Durgapur) constituency, Md. Nuruzzaman Liton said that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is trying to establish a welfare-oriented Islamic state. In this regard, the role of the teaching community is very important.

Addressing the teachers, Nuruzzaman Liton also said that it is through your hands that skilled, patriotic and capable leadership is developed. This is the expectation of the nation that you will strengthen the students in moral education. In the future, if Jamaat gets the responsibility of running the state, it will make every effort to fulfill the long-standing demands of the teaching community, InshaAllah.

Nuruzzaman Liton said these words while attending a separate exchange of views with the heads and teachers of various educational institutions in Durgapur Upazila on Monday . Teachers from 3 colleges and a technical college of the upazila were present at the meeting.

This day-long exchange meeting was held with teachers from Durgapur Degree College, Kathalbaria Shaheed Abul Kashem School and College, Jhaluka Degree College and Palashbari BM Technical College.

Principal Abdul Aziz, Prof Ziaul Haque Ratan, Prof Fazlul Bari Sohrab, Prof Mofiz Uddin, Assistant Prof Anwar Hossain, Lecturer Alamgir Hossain were present at the exchange meeting held at Kathalbaria Shaheed Abul Kashem School and College at 11 am.

Acting Principal Nazrul Islam, Prof Dr. Selim Reza Khan, Prof Abdul Wadud, Prof Masum Kabir, Assistant Headmaster Ahmed Ali Bhulon, Government Teacher Ataur Rahman were present at the exchange meeting held at Kathalbaria Shaheed Abul Kashem School and College at noon.

Principal Faizul Islam, Prof Muktar Ali, Prof Wares Ali, Professor Rafiqul Islam were present at the exchange of views held at Jhaluka College at 12:30 noon.

Earlier, Principal Mainul Islam, Prof Masud Rana and other teaching staff were present at the exchange of views held at Palashbari BM Technical College in the morning.
