Islami Bank Officer Mujahid awarded AOFI Fellowship

Abu Nasir Md. Mujahid, Senior Principal Officer of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, has been awarded fellowship from the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AOFI), an international organization that sets accounting, auditing, management procedures, policies and Sharia standards for Islamic financial institutions worldwide.
As a result of this achievement, he became a Certified Shariah Advisor and Auditor (CSAA) Fellow of this internationally recognized Bahrain-based organization and is entitled to all kinds of privileges.
Abu Nasir Md. Mujahid is currently working in the Brand and Communications Division of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC. He holds an Honours and Masters in History from Jahangirnagar University and later an Executive MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
He is also a Diplomate Associate of The Institute of Bankers Bangladesh (IBB). Before joining the bank, he was a staff reporter for the English daily The New Nation.
