Human chain demanding hanging of teacher Alauddin Sikder in Rupsha

A human chain and protest procession were held at Sheikhpura Bazar on Thursday morning demanding the hanging of teacher Alauddin Sikder of Khadijatul Kubra R. Mohila Dakhil Madrasa in Terkhaday.
Speakers at the human chain said, if the Union Awami League's religious affairs secretary, Alauddin, accused in rape and sexual harassment cases, was reinstated in the madrasa, he locked the madrasa and warned all female students to leave the institution and go elsewhere.
On the other hand, the mother of the victim student, the plaintiff in the rape case, said why was the characterless Alauddin released, he had previously behaved disrespectfully with more than one student and had forcibly married a student studying in the eighth grade of the institution despite having a wife and children before him.
Hundreds of young students and their guardians demanded that no student is safe from Alauddin and that he be hanged. Madrasa Superintendent Md. Mojahidul Islam presided over the human chain organized by the madrasa students. Madrasa Vice-Superintendent Abdus Salam Zahedi, social worker Mostafa Sheikh, Madrasa Assistant Teacher Md. Iqbal Hossain, Tashirunnesa, Asma Akhter, Mahmuda Khatun, Mazaharul Islam, Mostafa Kamal, Russell Alam, Rina Khanam, Madrasa students Murshida, Irene Akhter, Adri Akhter, Farzana Khanam, Oishi Akhter, Jannatul Ferdous, Maria Sultana Mithi, Mimma Akhter, Naeem Nishad, Tanha, Lamia, Mahima, Adhora, Maryam, guardians of students Runa Begum, Jasmine Akhter, Ratna, Farzana, Safmida, Khadija, Nazmin were present. The parents of the victim were also present.
Alauddin was accused of raping a third-grade student of a madrasa on November 20, 2024. Later, when the mother of the rapist filed a case with Terkhada Police Station, the police arrested him and sent him to court custody.
Later, despite all the witnesses and evidence being against Alauddin, he was acquitted of the case and tried to be reinstated in this institution, which led to this human chain.
