A human chain and protest were held in front of the police station seeking search for missing youth Md. Saiful Islam Likhner (33) who came to Munshiganj on Saturday.

Kamarkhara Union residents formed the human chain under the banner of the Munshiganj Press Club in Munshiganj town.

The local people, including relatives of the missing youth, participated in the human chain. Various slogans were raised in the human chain seeking search for the youth. At this time, the relatives cried. Later, they took a procession from there and took a stand at the Sadar Police Station and protested. At this time, they moved away when the police assured them to find the youth. The missing Likhner's village home is in Kamarkhara village of Tongibari upazila of Munshiganj. He lived with his family in Wari, Dhaka.

The father of the missing Zuk Likhner, Md. Dulal Hawlader said that his son left his home in Wari, Dhaka, on February 6 at the invitation of his friend Saddam Hossain Samrat from the southern Islampur area of Munshiganj city. After arriving in Munshiganj city, Likhon went missing after 8 pm that day. Although he had been missing for 23 days, his son has not been found.

Father Dulal Hawlader also said that he filed a general diary with the Munshiganj Sadar Police Station on February 7 regarding the disappearance of his son. After not finding him, he filed a kidnapping case on February 13, mentioning the names of 6 friends including Saddam Hossain Samrat.
