Football competition, prize distribution held at secondary school level in Goalando

An annual football competition and prize distribution was held with the participation of 4 teams of secondary school level at Goalando in Rajbari.
The competition was held on Monday at the Daulatdia Model High School ground of the upazila.
In the game, Chowdhury Abdul Hamid Academy team won the championship by defeating Goalando Nazir Uddin Government High School team by 1-0. Rizvi Sheikh scored the only winning goal for the team.
The other two teams that participated in this knockout phase competition are Daulatdia Model High School and Goalando Proper High School.
The competition was held under the annual sports program of the Sports Department organized by the Rajbari District Sports Office.
Rajbari District Sports Officer Md. Amanullah Ahmed distributed prizes among the champion and runner-up teams as the chief guest in the game.
Muhammad Sahidul Islam, Headmaster of Daulatdia Model High School and General Secretary of Upazila Secondary Teachers Association presided.
Chowdhury Abdul Hamid Academy Headmaster Md Rafiqul Islam Sheikh, Goalando Press Club President Muhammad Abul Hossain, General Secretary Shamim Sheikh, Daulatdia Model High School Assistant Headmaster Mehdi Abu Hasan, sports teacher Md Motaleb Hossain and others were also present as guests. Sports teacher of Chowdhury Mahbub Hossain Girls High School conducted the games and prize distribution ceremony Md Taibur Rahman.
