Moynul Haque Mridha, Rajbari
People of Goalando upazila of Rajbari have been suffering for a long time due to a slow pace of construction work in the Para-Jadu Fakir area of Sheikh.
Thousands of people in the area have suffered extreme suffering in taking general movement, bringing patients, and taking agricultural crops.
Angry locals demanded that constitution of the road as soon as possible.
Goalando Upazila Engineer Mohammad Zakir Hossain Mia said that only 5 percent of the road was completed. The speed of the work is also very low. No vehicles are able to operate from there to remove the bricks from the old road. It has come to me that there are various types of public suffering.
In this case, we have given a warning letter to the contractor to arrange for speeding vehicles to speed up the work.
Upazila LGED sources said that the Jakullah and Brothers of Chuadanga received 2,000 meters of bituminous carpeting work on the Ujanchar GC Via Fakir Para road from the road adjacent to the Daulatdia Union Parishad office for a long time. The contract for construction of the road with 2 box culverts is Tk.
The work is expected to be completed by the last 3-5-21 and the work is expected to be completed by next 1-3-21. But the most important of the road is worried about the slow pace of the road.
While talking to local farmers Torap Sheikh , Humayun Ahmed, Barak Beppari, Kuddus Sheikh, and others, said that a large number of onions, garlic, pumpkin were cultivated in their area. Very few of these crops are being pushed into the market by pushing it into a horse carriage.
They said that on horseback, the horse has to pay money too much. It takes only one bucks before. In this situation, most of the money sales of onions are spending on the cost of lifting costs and transportation costs. In this way, they are facing losses.
Harun Beppari, a farmer of Jadu Fakir Para, said he had planted onions on that bigha land this time. It hopes to produce at least 20/20 minds. All the onions in the field have already been packed in sufficient quantities. But due to the poor condition of the street, the onions are not able to take the market properly. How many minds can be taken in the market by head!
Pregnant housewife Sumi Akhter expressed her apprehension that her husband worked in Dhaka. He has to go to the market regularly to shop. At present, the sand is suffering a lot. Moreover, I do not understand when the night is in danger. If the road was good, I would not be afraid. He said that the movement of ordinary patients through the sand of the street is very costly.Goaland Upazila Agriculture Officer and Administrator of Daulatdia Union Parishad Md. Khokon Uzzaman said that he had informed the upazila engineer and representative of the contractor organization that the general farmer's people had been informed to complete the work.
Contractor representative Md Salah Uddin Chowdhury said it was true that people are suffering. However, the quality of work can be worse. Moreover, there is a problem with providing a roller machine.
