Exchange of views on improving the quality of education

A meeting was held with head teachers, assistant teachers and ICT teachers to improve the quality of education in Gafargaon, Mymensingh.
This exchange of views was organized by the Bangladesh Teachers' Association Gafargaon Upazila Branch (Principal Md. Selim Bhuiyan) with the aim of modernizing education, using technology and increasing the skills of teachers.
The meeting was held at Fazlur Rahman High School on Tuesday morning. The chief guest was the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Mymensingh School Inspector Professor Dr. Md. Didarul Islam.
The exchange of views was chaired by the General Secretary of the Upazila Teachers' Association Mohammad Shariful Islam and the President of the Upazila Teachers' Association, Fazlur Rahman High School Headmaster Mohammad Ala Uddin.
The main discussant exchanged views as the main discussant. The Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md. Mofakhkharul Islam, President of Mymensingh District Teachers' Association S. M. Momtaz Uddin. The speakers highlighted the importance of modern education in improving the quality of education. They emphasized on increasing the technical skills of teachers, applying new teaching methods, developing students' creativity and moral education.
Teachers-Employees Unity Alliance, Mymensingh District General Secretary Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Divisional Organizing Secretary of Bangladesh Teachers' Association Md. Saidur Rahman and Organizing Secretary of Mymensingh District Md. Zahirul Islam were also present.
