In Sundarganj, Gaibandha, certificates were distributed to participants upon the completion of a two-month-long training program on computer and networking under the “Technology Empowerment Center on Wheels for Underprivileged Rural Young People of Bangladesh (TECaB Phase 2)” project.

The certificate distribution ceremony was held on Wednesday in the Upazila Parishad conference room, organized by the Upazila Administration and the Department of Youth Development.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Nazir Hossain attended the event as the chief guest and distributed certificates among the participants.

The event was presided over by the Upazila Youth Development Officer, Md. Zafar Ahmed Laskar. Participants such as Sudipto Shamim, Suraiya Roksana Dipa, Apon Babu, Humayun Kabir, Anisur Rahman, Shaheen Sarkar, and others shared their experiences during the ceremony.

While sharing their thoughts, the participants stated that the training provided them with a life-changing opportunity. They expressed hope that the knowledge gained in computer and networking would positively impact their professional and personal lives, enabling them to work efficiently in tune with modern technology.

Trainer Danesh Ali remarked that the primary aim of the training was to enhance the participants' interest in technology and improve their skills. By focusing on practical lessons, the students have significantly advanced their proficiency.

Md. Zafar Ahmed Laskar, Upazila Youth Development Officer, noted that this training is not merely an opportunity to gain technical skills but also lays the foundation for career success. With digital skills, the youth can create new opportunities and achieve self-reliance. This initiative plays a vital role in the progress of the youth and the development of society.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Nazir Hossain highlighted that societal development could be accelerated through technology education. This training program has enriched the youth of Sundarganj with digital skills, opening up new avenues of potential in their lives.
