BSMRSTU to bear Sanjay's medical expenses

Chatting with a girlfriend in the tin shade in the hot afternoon sun. A student went there to study. A student studying at the next table felt annoyed by talking loudly with his girlfriend. They were angry with the words that speaking loudly is disrupting the studies. He hit the student with a brick in his hand. It was accompanied by random beatings and verbal abuse. Such an incident happened at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University (BSMRSTU) in Gopalganj.

The incident started shortly after 12 noon on May 14 (Tuesday). As there was no electricity in the university's central library, Sanjay Das (26), a student of the 2019-20 academic year of the Department of Agriculture, came to study on the balcony of the adjacent tin shed. Masud Molya (26), a student of the political science department of the 2018-19 academic year, and his girlfriend were busy chatting loudly at the table next to him. Sanjay stopped talking loudly. But Sanjay's ban was considered rude by Masud. Hit Sanjay. The upper part of Sanjay's right eye was ruptured by Masud. He was taken to Gopalganj 250-bed hospital for treatment. Multiple stitches are given at the site of the crack.

Sanjay filed a complaint at Gopalganj Sadar Police Station on May 14 (Tuesday). On the same day, Sanjay applied to the proctor for the trial of the terrorist attack.

Accused Masud applied to the proctor on May 15 (Wednesday) confirming the truth of the incident. In the application, he said, Sanjay abused me. At that time there was a fight between the two people. Once Sanjay suddenly fell down on the ground. I caught him and saw that he had a tear above his eye. So I rushed him to the hospital.

Who is paying the medical expenses? Sanjay said in this regard, I have brought 4 thousand rupees from home. And friends gave some money. Currently treating them. I saw the doctor at Khulna Eye Hospital yesterday. The doctor said that if the blood clot in the eye is not reduced and the swelling of the eye is not reduced, better treatment cannot be done. For now 10-15 days some medicine should be taken. Then check and get advanced treatment.

Sanjay's medical expenses will the university administration? In this regard, the registrar said. Dalilur Rahman said, we will discuss on Sunday. We will talk about the boy's medical expenses and the expenses will be borne.
