BNP spreading falsehood to misguide people: Maleque

Health Minister Zahid Maleque on Sunday said BNP is spreading falsehood to misguide the people of the country to achieve ill political gains.
"BNP is spreading falsehood over reserve and power crisis to undermine massive development programmes implemented by the present government," he told the 8th Homeopathy Science Conference-2022 at Institution of Diploma Engineers (IDEB), an official release said.
The health minister said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has achieved the love of people for her dedicated mindset for the well-being of the nation. BNP won't be able to destroy love of the people towards Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, he added.
Maleque said, "Like rest of the world, Bangladesh is going through very temporary crisis due to Russia-Ukraine war... we would be able to overcome the ongoing economic crisis within a short time."
Describing importance of homeopathic treatment, the minister said Bangladesh has already made a remarkable progress in the field of homoeopathy. The government will provide all necessary supports to improve homoeopathic treatment facilities to bring a significant change in the health sector, he added.
