BNP holds huge public rally in Khagrachari

A huge public rally of the district BNP was held in Khagrachari on various public demands, including keeping the price increase of daily necessities at a tolerable level, improving the deteriorating law and order situation, announcing a quick election roadmap and confronting the various conspiracies of the fallen fascism of the state.
Monirul Haque Chowdhury, a member of the Advisory Board of the BNP Chairperson, addressed a huge public rally at the Shapla Chattar Mukta Mancha in the heart of Khagrachari city at 4 pm on Tuesday.
Speaking at the rally, he said that during the last 15 years of the fascist murderer Sheikh Hasina government, the country's leader Khaleda Zia had to be imprisoned for ten years unjustly just for not compromising. Tarek Rahman had to leave the country without any fault or reason, not only that, but many leaders and activists across the country were subjected to attacks, cases, imprisonment, oppression and torture, but BNP did not give up.
At that time, he demanded price control, improvement in the law and order situation, and the announcement of a roadmap for early elections.
The public meeting was also attended by District BNP President and Central Joint Employment Affairs Secretary Wadud Bhuiyan.
District BNP Senior Vice President Praveen Chandra Chakma, General Secretary MN Absar, District BNP Advisor Zakia Jinat Bithi and other leaders of the district BNP were present.
Thousands of leaders and activists from nine districts and upazilas participated in the said meeting.
