20 injured in clashes over boarding of easy bikes in Habiganj

There have been several incidents of clashes between the two groups over passenger boarding of easy bikes at Lakhai Upazila in Habiganj . At least 20 people were injured. The injured were treated at Upazila Health Complex.
This incident happened on Tuesday morning. Police reached the spot and brought the situation under control.
Locals said that Milon Mia of Dairul village of Sinh village had a discussion with Touhid Mia of neighboring Maijhati village on Monday regarding the pick-up and drop-off of easybikes in Bullabazar of Lakhai upazila. Later in the afternoon, clashes broke out between the two sides. As a result of this, on Tuesday morning, two sides came together and clashed with indigenous weapons. At least 20 people were injured.
Confirming the matter, OC of Lakhai Police Station Bander Ali Mia said, police brought the situation under control after receiving information about the clash. Additional police have been deployed in the area.
