Orientation on typhoid vaccination campaign held in Boalkhali

An orientation of teachers, religious and community leaders was held at the upazila level on the occasion of the typhoid vaccination campaign in Boalkhali.
The meeting held on Sunday morning at the Upazila Parishad Conference Room was presided over by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Jafrin Jahed Jiti and UNO Mohammad Rahmat Ullah was present as the chief guest.
Other guests present included Medical Officer Disease Control Dr. Tofail, Surveillance Medical Officer of the World Health Organization's Chattogram District Dr. Jahid, Upazila Primary Education Officer Md. Harun Ur Rashid, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Salma Islam, representatives of the Islamic Foundation, all the head teachers of the upazila and Medical Technologist EPI Md. Jihad.
In the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the upcoming nationwide typhoid vaccination campaign to bring all children aged 9 months to 15 years of Boalkhali upazila under the typhoid vaccine and instructions were given to all the target population to collect online typhoid vaccine registration vaccination cards through quick online birth registration. All teachers were requested to come to school with a full stomach before coming and to arrange to stay at the vaccination center for at least half an hour after vaccination.
