Youth man in Goalando gets death threat over phone, complaint filed at police station

A young man named Tanvir Russel (27) of Ambalpur area of Chhotabhakla union in Goalando upazila of Rajbari has been threatened with murder from an unknown number. The victim has filed a complaint with Goalanda Ghat police station in this regard.
 
The victim is the son of Md. Shajahan Sheikh of Ambalpur village in Chhotabhakla union of Goalando upazila. He is a freelancer and WiFi businessman by profession.
 
According to the victim youth and police station sources, on Saturday, August 9, at around 9 pm, while the victim Tanvir Russell was in Ambalpur, Katakhali, Chhotabhakla Union, an unknown person called the victim's number 01753548090 from the said number +8809638342801 and made various kinds of threats and death threats, including abusive language. The victim, unable to find any other way out, appeared at the police station that night and filed a complaint regarding the above matter.
 
In this regard, the victim Tanvir Russell said, "As far as I know, I have no enemies, but on August 9, an unknown person, hiding his identity, threatened to kill me and abused everyone, including my family, in foul language." He also said, "They will hack me to death wherever they find me at Katakhali intersection, Antarmor river bank, and Pau Jamtala. They even threatened to shoot me dead at any time."
 
Goalando Ghat Police Station OC  Mohammad Rakibul Islam said, "We have received a written complaint in this regard at the police station. We are investigating who owns the number. The police are working on this matter."
