
Laksam BNP's Confce in Monohorgonj : Awami fascists must not return; everyone have to remain united : Bulu

Barkat Ullah Bulu, Vice Chairman of BNP Central Committee, said that everyone must stay united to prevent the return of the former autocratic government and fascist Awami League.
The 31-point reform agenda announced by our leader Tarique Rahman is a pledge for a new Bangladesh through structural reforms. He made these remarks on Thursday while addressing the Laksam, Monohorgonj Upazila and Laksam Municipality BNP biennial conference, held at the Laksam Municipality Auditorium. He added that the national parliamentary election in February 2026 will be challenging. We welcome the decision to hold this election, as it is an important step for the country’s business, law and order, and overall creativity.
The conference began with the Monohorgonj Upazila BNP session, presided over by Upazila BNP convener Ilyas Patwari. Among others, BNP leaders Shah Sultan Khokon, Sarwar Jahan Dolon, Md. Yusuf Bhuiya, Samira Azim Dola, Kazi Abul Basar, Masudur Rahman Bacchu, and Gias Uddin Saikat attended. At the end of the session, Ilyas Patwari was announced as president, Sarwar Jahan Dolon as general secretary, and Masudul Alam Bacchu and Mobarak Hossain as joint organizational secretaries, forming the “Super Four” Monohorgonj Upazila BNP Committee.
The second phase was the Laksam Upazila BNP conference, presided over by Central Industrial Affairs Secretary and industrialist Abul Kalam. Present at the session were Haji Nur Hossain, Ibrahim Khalil, Abdur Rahman Badal, and Mosharraf Hossain Mushu. At the conclusion, Abul Kalam was announced as president, Abdur Rahman Badal as general secretary, and Mosharraf Hossain Mushu as organizational secretary of the Laksam Upazila committee, forming the “Super Three.”
In the afternoon, Laksam Municipality BNP conference commenced, presided over by BNP leader Abul Hashem Manu. Other attendees included BNP leaders Majir Ahmed, Belal Rahman Majumdar, Abul Hossain Milon, Golam Faruq, and Abu Bakr Milton. As of this report, the Laksam Municipality committee has not yet been announced. Central BNP leaders Zakaria Taher Sumon, Mostak Mia, Ashikur Rahman Wasim, along with district and upazila BNP leaders, Jubo Dal, volunteer corps, Krishak Dal, and Shramik Dal leaders, delivered speeches at the session.
