
Govt to restore stability before polls at any cost: CA’s deputy press secretary
The government is committed to overcoming the current situation and restoring order before the upcoming national election, said Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, on Saturday .

About the recent murder in Old Dhaka, Abul Kalam said the police have already arrested four people and are investigating to know the motive.
He added that the Chief Adviser recently held a meeting with Home Ministry officials and instructed that there should be no scope for leniency.
The deputy press secretary also said all cases filed under the revoked Digital Security Act have been dropped.
Under the new Cyber Security Act, all sections except those related to hacking are now bailable, he added.
CA’s Senior Assistant Press Secretary Fayez Ahmed, Assistant Press Secretary Suchismita, and Rajshahi DC Afia Akter were also present.
