BNP no longer wants to hear about elections after justice and reforms, BNP Standing Committee member Abdul Moyeen Khan has said.
"Reform and justice are ongoing processes. The main responsibility of the interim government is to restore democracy," he said at a form distribution ceremony for new member recruitment and renewal programmes organised by Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP at Bhuban-Mohan Park in the city at around 11am today (12 July).
During his speech, Moyeen said, "Democracy should be returned to the people's hands through elections as quickly as possible."
He also warned BNP leaders and workers to be cautious about behaving like the previous Awami League government.
During the event, renewal forms for old BNP members and new member recruitment forms were distributed among the leaders and activists.
