3 members of gang of thieves arrested with 3 motorcycles in Baliadangi

Police have arrested three members of a gang of thieves, including three motorcycles, in Baliadangi, Thakurgaon on Thursday.
A thief was arrested along with a motorcycle recovered from the Mohammad Ali petrol pump in Baliadangi at 3.40 am.
The arrested are: Noman Shaktiman (22), son of Alam Mia of Mahishmari village in Baliadangi upazila, Mozammel Haque Mozam (50), son of Nazim Uddin of Terkania village, and Surah Ali (25), son of Kalam Uddin of Dekna Para village.
Police and locals said the arrested men are members of a motorcycle theft gang. They are involved in buying and selling stolen motorcycles.
Confirming the arrest, OC of the police station, Shawkat Ali Sarkar, said, on Wednesday night, a public called and said, "A motorcycle was stolen from my house, a thief was caught at Mohammad Ali petrol pump." Upon receiving this information, the night patrol party called the local public and the Baliadangi police station arrested the thief. Based on their inquiries, two more motorcycles of Duosuo Union of Baliadangi police station were recovered and two thieves were arrested. Such operations by the Baliadangi police station are ongoing.
