Nearly one hundred members of Sanatan (Hindu) families in Srinagar upazila’s Hasara Union have joined BNP on Monday during a discussion meeting organized by local BNP, affiliated, and associate organizations at the Hasara Union BNP’s main office.
Sanatan community members formally joined BNP under the leadership of Hasara Union BNP President Abdur Rashid.The program was conducted by former Volunteer Team President and BNP leader Mohon Morol and was presided over by Hasara Union BNP President Abdur Rashid.
Among the new members were Lakshan Mondal, Bishnu Mondal, Badol Mondal, Sadhan Mondal, Dilip Mondal, Jhontu Mondal, Madhob Mondal, Robi Mondal, Makhon Mondal, Sanjit Rajbongshi, Krishna Rajbongshi, Arjun Rajbongshi, Mintu Mondal, along with 80–90 others.
Also present were Hasara Union BNP Vice President Ruhul Amin Humayun, Joint General Secretary Azizul Islam, Ward No. 5 President Abul Hossain, General Secretary Rubel Hossain, Joint Secretary Uzzal Hossain Shobuj, Organizing Secretary Shamim Hossain, along with numerous leaders and activists.
