The people of Sherpur have demanded immediate withdrawal of all political, false, fabricated and baseless cases filed by the dictatorial Awami-League government against the acting chairman of BNP Tareque Rahman.

A strong demand has been made to take appropriate steps regarding Tareque Rahman's return to the country. Millions of BNP leaders and activists are waiting for Tareque Rahman to return home from London.

I am working with flag of BNP by direction of Tareque Rahman. I want to live with the ideals of Bangladesh Nationalists’ Party. I want to live with BNP as long as I live. I am not outside the decision of our national hero BNP Acting Chairman Tareque Rahman said Alhaj Jane Alam Khoka, Chief Advisor of the Upazila Owners Workers Joint Committee and former Municipal Mayor.

He also said that I made a mistake in choosing the municipality outside the party's decision. For that I am publicly apologizing. They have withdrawn me, but because I went on a march, a case was filed against me.

The movement will continue to struggle. A gathering of workers and students organized by the owner-labor joint committee at Sherpur was held at Dhunatmor Municipal Truck Terminal at 4 pm on Friday.

The rally was held under the chairmanship of Arifur Rahman Milon, President of Upazila Owner Workers Joint Committee and President of the District Bus Minibus, Coach and Microbus Transport Workers.

The speakers also said that the students-masses sent away the fascist Sheikh Hasina through an earth-shaking movement. Many people had to give their blood and lives to remove this fascist. Many students, workers, masses gave their lives while fighting the fascists. So people's expectations from the interim government are high.
