Marking the anniversary of the historic mass uprising Companyganj Upazila BNP of Noakhali organized a victory rally and rally meeting on Tuesday.
The event took place at 11:00 AM in the Upazila Parishad premises, where speakers included Bazlul Karim Chowdhury Abed, Assistant Secretary for Rural Development Affairs of BNP's Central Committee, Mahbub Alamgir Alo, Convener, Noakhali District BNP, Adv ABM Zakaria, Joint Convener, Harunur Rashid Azad, Member Secretary, Adv Abdur Rahman, Member, Golam Haider BSc, Former President, District BNP and Hasna Jasim Uddin Maudud, Former Member, Companyganj Upazila BNP Convening Committee
The meeting was presided over by BNP leader Nurul Alam Shikder and moderated by former Basurhat BNP President Abdul Matin Liton.
Other notable attendees included forqan E Alam, Member, BNP National Executive Committee, Adv Shahdat Hossain, President, Noakhali District Bar Association, Adv Azam Khan, Kamruzzaman Hafiz, Former President, Noakhali District Chhatra Dal,ahmudur Rahman Ripon, Former Member Secretary, Upazila BNP and leaders from various levels of the district and upazila BNP.
Despite continuous rain, a large number of leaders and activists from distant areas joined the rally, which marched through the main roads of Basurhat Bazar and concluded at Rupali Chattar.
Speakers emphasized unity, stating that all internal divisions were set aside in response to the district BNP's directive, reaffirming their commitment to the movement.
