
Body of missing boy recovered by Coast Guard, Fire Service in N'ganj
A body of missing child was recovered by Coast Guard, Fire Service in Narayanganj.
Coast Guard media officer Lieutenant Rafid-As-Sami provided this information in a press release on Thursday noon.
The presa release said that on 13 August 2025, Wednesday, at around 4:00 PM, Abdullah (10), a child, wet missing while bathing in the Buriganga River near the Narayanganj Decreerchar ferry ghat area. At around 4:30 PM, local people informed the Coast Guard about the matter. Based on the received information, a rescue team from Coast Guard Station Pagla immediately proceeded to the said area and conducted a “Search and Rescue” operation. Later, on Thursday, 14 August 2025, at around 11:00 AM, the Coast Guard and Fire Service diving team managed to recover the child’s dead body.
