Youth killed in truck-motorcycle collision in Joypurhat

A young man named Mithu (25) has died in a collision between a truck and a motorcycle in Joypurhat at around 3:00 PM on Saturday in the Durgadah area of Joypurhat Sadar Upazila.
The deceased, Mithu, was the son of Alek Ali from Komorgram village in Badalgachhi Upazila of Naogaon district.
The incident was confirmed by OC of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station, Nur Alam Siddique.
Local UP member Liton Hossain ssid, “I was sitting in my shop around 3:00 PM when the accident happened. About 200 yards south of Durgadah Bazaar, near a mosque, a truck was parked. At that time, a motorcycle heading towards Badalgachhi collided with the truck, causing the rider to sustain fatal injuries and die on the spot.”
OC Nur Alam Siddique further said, “As soon as we were informed, police were dispatched to the scene. Legal action will be taken if the family files a case.”
