A young man was killed by entering a house in Barura, Cumilla . A young man named Sharif (30) was killed. Barura police recovered the body of the young man from his house in Shalukia village of Barura municipality on Thursday morning. Deceased Sharif is the elder son of deceased Babul Mia of Shalukia village.

According to local sources, the neighbors found the door of Sharif's house open and his body lying on the ground. Sharif's body was found in blood on the ground inside the house. A police team recovered Sharif's body and brought it to the police station. They could not say anything about who killed Sharif.

Locals said that Sharif has been addicted to drugs for a long time. was involved in the drug trade. There are several drug cases in his name in Barura police station. He was alone in the house that day.

In this regard Barura police station officer in charge (OC). Riaz Uddin Chowdhury said, we recovered Sharif's body and sent it to Cumilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. It is initially believed that he was killed after seeing the marks of various wounds on the body.

The drive to identify the killers and bring them to justice continues. Sharif's family has not filed any case with the police till the evening of writing this report.

According to sources, Sharif is accused in several cases. A few days ago he was released from jail on bail. Due to his extravagant lifestyle, his two wives left home. Later they divorce her. In addition, his mother does not stay at home because of his fear.

Auto driver Arif, younger brother of the deceased, said that approximately 20 days ago, Sharif took his auto and sold it. He filed a written complaint in the police station. She also said that she has not been staying at home for the past few days due to Sharif's fear
