Workshop held to create public awareness about village courts in Faridpur

A workshop titled "Participation and Actions of Local Stakeholders" to create public awareness about village courts at the district level in Faridpur was held at the Faridpur District Administrator's Conference Room on Wednesday at 10 am.
Faridpur Deputy Commissioner Md. Kamrul Hasan Molla addressed the workshop as the chief guest.
Md. Iliasur Rahman, Deputy Director of the Local Government Department of the District Administrator's Office, chaired the meeting, while Additional Superintendent of Police Ajmir Hossain addressed the special guest.
The open discussion was attended by Deputy Director of the District Social Services Department Rubayet Md. Ferdous, FDA Advisor Md. Azaharul Islam, BFF Executive Director ANM Fazlul Hadi Sabbir, and women leader Tahiyetul Jannat Rimi. At the same time, Faridpur District Facilitator of the Village Court Activation Project Md. Shariful Islam presented a report on the village court activities in Faridpur. The chief guest said in his speech at the event that we all have to play a role in spreading the activities of the village court among the common people. We can motivate the people by highlighting the activities of the village court and its benefits through various print and electronic media and social media.
