
Workshop for employees held at BRUR

A workshop titled 'Professional Responsibilities and Duties' was held for Class IV employees at Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur. The workshop was held on Sunday morning in the classroom of the Management Information Systems Department of Academic Building-3, and was addressed as the chief guest by the Vice-Chancellor of the university, Professor Dr. Md. Shawkat Ali.
At this time, he said, if BRUR is to be developed as a quality university, it is necessary to give importance to discipline and professionalism.
The Vice-Chancellor said the fourth class employees also have an important role to play in taking Begum Rokeya University forward by creating a positive image. He thanked the Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) for organizing such a workshop.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the experience gained from this workshop will bring dynamism to administrative work and will be helpful in enhancing the skills of the employees.
In the workshop, IQAC Director Professor Dr. Md. Tajul Islam presided over the event, while University Registrar Dr. Md. Harun-or Rashid and Dhaka University College Inspector A. K. M. Amjad Hossain delivered speeches on the professional responsibilities and duties of employees as resource persons. IQAC Additional Director Dr. Md. Abdul Latif and Dr. Md. Abdur Rakib was present at the event. On the first day of the two-day workshop, fourth-grade employees of various departments and offices of Begum Rokeya University participated.
