Cyber Crime South Unit of Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) has arrested four people, including Chhatra Dal leader, in connection with the attack, vandalism and arson at metro rail station number 10 in Mirpur and Kazipara in the name of government service quota reform movement.

According to DB, there was a planned attack on the metro rail station in Mirpur and vandalism and arson. One to one and a half thousand people participated in this attack.

According to DB, Abu Hannan Talukder, joint secretary of Chhatra Dal's central committee, coordinated the attack. The attack was led by Imam Al Nasser (Mishuk), General Secretary of Shahidullah Hall Chhatra Dal of Dhaka University.

Bajlul Rahman (Bijoy), the senior joint secretary of Dhaka University's Victory Ekater Hall Chhatra Dal, and Vice President of the National University Branch of Chhatra Dal, were arrested for their involvement in the same incident. Ferdouske (Ruble).

Dhaka Metropolitan Intelligence Police (DB) Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid gave this information at a press conference at the DB office on Minto Road in the capital on Sunday (July 28).

Harun said that during the quota reform movement, Jamaat-BNP terrorists used young students to attack and vandalize state institutions in different areas of the capital. Especially those who set fire to our dream metrorail, set fire to bridge buildings, attacked and killed policemen, we will arrest them one by one wherever they are. He said that some people involved in the police killing in Jatrabari have been arrested. On July 19, Jamaat-BNP terrorists set fire to Mirpur's Kazipara and Mirpur 10 stations in connection with the quota movement, and arrested four people for their involvement in the incident.

Harun claimed that Abu Hannan, the central leader of Chhatra Dal, was the mastermind and leader of the attack on the metro station. Hannan and his accomplices set fire to the metro station under the guidance of BNP leaders Sultan Salahuddin Tuku, Saiful Islam Nirva. They have revealed the names of two more leaders in this incident. Among whom BNP leader Shraban has already been arrested. BNP leaders give responsibility to four or five people. Metro stations were ordered to be destroyed by fire, so that common people could no longer travel in the metro.

He also said that information has been received about many people in connection with the fire at the metro rail station and the attack on the police on duty. Four of them have been arrested. DB is conducting operations to nab the rest.

The Additional Commissioner said, you know that the assistant of the former mayor of Gazipur was killed and hanged. A pedestrian was killed and dragged for one and a half kilometers, mistaking it for the police. All in all, such barbaric attacks and killings have taken place. Those involved are not people in favor of the development of Bangladesh.

They have tried to make the country ineffective. Many people think that they will escape from Dhaka and survive. That won't happen. A case has been filed. DB is investigating. We will not spare anyone involved.

In response to a question, Harun said that there was a plan of sabotage around the quota movement of ordinary students. Around this movement they plan attacks on state institutions, all this is planned. In this incident, fuel suppliers, arms suppliers will also be arrested.
