Who creates Aziz and Benazir, Fakhrul asks

Citing misdeeds indulged by the former Chief of Army Staff and Inspector General of Police (IGP), BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has raised a question of who has created the duo.
“Former Army Chief Aziz Ahmed and Former IGP Benazir Ahmed have been created by them (Awami League). It’s not just this duo, innumerable instances like them are everywhere. There is nothing but corruption in and around them,” said Fakhrul.
The BNP leader came up with the remarks while addressing a function held at the Dhaka Reporters’ Unity auditorium in Segunbagicha area this noon.
Apart from Aziz and Benazir, the people, elected as members of the parliament through a so-called election, are indulged in making money through illegal means.
About his party’s next course of action programme, Fakhrul said the BNP will go for a tougher movement defying all repressive and suppressive acts of the ruling quarter.
“We are not safe and secure under the current regime. We have no right to speak and move freely. We all are in acute danger. We will have to get rid of the situation by waging a stronger movement,” said the BNP leader.
