We’re planning to build a sports village: Sports Adviser

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain announced on Saturday that the ministry is planning to construct a sports village in the capital for the country’s sports federations.
“We are planning to build a sports village. It will be a mega project. Discussions are ongoing with several countries to secure financial and technical support. The idea is to bring all 55 federations together, providing them with office facilities and grounds in one location,” he said while speaking to reporters after inaugurating the Shahid Farhan Fayyaz Playground for the physically challenged near Jatiyo Sangsad Bhaban.
“As a developing country, we have many priorities and must focus on basic needs. However, we are working to obtain the necessary financial and technical assistance from countries willing to support this initiative to establish the sports village in Dhaka,” the sports adviser added.
