Waz Mahfil organized by Shaheed Zia Ideal Club in Betagi

A Waz Mahfil was organized by the Shaheed Zia Ideal Club and Library in Betagi, Barguna, on Thursday at the field adjacent to the Bailey Bridge. The event was held to pray for the forgiveness of the souls of deceased individuals in the area.The chief guest at the event was Mohammad Ishaq Sarkar, former Central Organizing Secretary of the Chhatra Dal and Jubo Dal. The concluding prayer (Akheri Munajat) was conducted by renowned Islamic speaker Dr. Sirajul Islam (a new Muslim convert).Other notable attendees included Maulana Abu Hanif Neshari, Mufti Al-Amin Rabbani, Maulana Sohoraf Hossain, along with Betagi Upazila BNP Convener Humayun Kabir Mallick, former Upazila Chairman and Municipal Mayor Md. Shahjahan Kabir, Upazila BNP Joint Convener Abdus Salam Siddiqui, Upazila Jubo Dal Convener Mashiur Rahman, Upazila Chhatra Dal leaders Mahmud Mallick and Shahin Khan, as well as many local devout individuals.
The event was presided over by Maulana Hemayet Hossain, Khatib of Bailey Bridge Jam-e -Mosque, while the program was conducted by Omar Faruq, founder of Shaheed Zia Ideal Club and Library.
