VP Rahim wins in Sirajganj Zilla Parishad election

Upazila Awami League executive member VP Abdur Rahim (Tala Marka) has won unofficially in Shahjadpur region of Ward No. 7 of Sirajganj Zilla Parishad by getting 77 votes.
His nearest rival Iqbal Hossain Nayan (Autoriksa) got 46 votes'.
Earlier on Monday (October 17) from 9 AM to 2 AM, voting was held through EVM in two booths at Shahjadpur Government Model Pilot High School. 133 voters exercised their franchise in this ward.
Other contestants in this center got KM Nasiruddin Ghuri 1 each, Salim Akhtar Electric Fan 3 each, Majed Ali Tubewell 4 each, Mizanur Rahman 0 and Sahib Ali 0 votes'.
Presiding officer Yusub Ali announced the result at around 2:30 pm.
