View exchange with journalists : Lalmonirhat new SP Asaduzzaman promises fair elections

Newly -appointed Lalmonirhat District Superintendent of Police (SP) Asaduzzaman exchanged views with journalists from various print and electronic media working in Lalmonirhat on Sunday, The exchange of views was held in the conference hall room of the Superintendent of Police's office in the afternoon.
Press Club Lalmonirhat Member smSecretary Hasan Ul Aziz of Amar Desh, joint convener of Press Club Lalmonirhat and journalist of Dainik Sangram Md. Lavlu Sheikh, senior journalist Abdur Rob Sujan, journalists Masud Rana Rashed and Mofizur Rahman GS Babu, and journalists working in various media outlets participated in the exchange of views.
At the meeting, Lalmonirhat District Police Superintendent Md. Asaduzzaman said that the district police will work sincerely to maintain communal harmony in the district. He said, "Our main goal is to conduct the upcoming national elections peacefully. Besides, the police will work sincerely to make Lalmonirhat drug-free," he said.
Highlighting the police's strict stance on drugs, he said that a zero tolerance policy will be adopted regarding drugs.
This was the first exchange of views with journalists after the 25th BCS police officer recently joined as the Lalmonirhat District Police Superintendent.
