In Barguna, with the motto “We want a healthy environment for a prosperous life”, the ‘USSAS-Pathshala’ teaching program was inaugurated by the Barguna Sadar Upazila Administration and the Coastal Surya Samajik Sangstha (USSAS) in collaboration with the Upazila Administration to create a beautiful society for helpless and uprooted street children and to motivate them towards education. After the auspicious inauguration, free educational materials were distributed among more than a hundred children.

On Saturday (November 30) at 4 pm, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Shamim Miah inaugurated the “USSAS-Pathshala” program by distributing free books, notebooks, pencils and other educational materials at the office of Khajurtola Ashrayan in Gaurichanna Union of Sadar Upazila.

At this time, under the chairmanship of Md. Aliullah Imran, Chief Executive of the Coastal Sun Social Organization (USSOS) and the moderatorship of Md. Sohag Howlader, General Secretary of "USSOS", after the inaugural ceremony, a teaching program for children was held. At this time, the guests were present, Bangla Tribune's Barguna correspondent journalist Md. Ibrahim Sohel, social worker Md. Moni Akhter.

Also present at this time were Md. Raihan, executive member of the Coastal Sun Social Organization (USSOS), and other members, volunteer members of "USSOS" Md. Meherun Nisa Ria, Md. Eva, Md. Zahidul Islam, Setu Devi, Md. Raju, Md. Hridoy Jamaddar, Md. Jerin, Tuba, Tahiya, Mishti, Md. Shanto, Md. Rezaul Karim Babu, Md. Hamidur and the guardians of the children.

The Chief Executive Aliullah Imran said, Coastal Sun Social Organization (USSAS) has started this program from today with the motto "We want a healthy environment for a prosperous life". The long-term 'USSAS Pathshala' program has been started with the aim of helping the helpless and street children to stay away from bad deeds and develop themselves as self-educated and good people in a beautiful society. We all want to take it forward with cooperation.

Barguna Sadar Upazila Administrator and Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shamim Miah said, "The active and creative volunteer team of 'USSAS' is doing social service work, it is really commendable. Although the activities of the USSAS Pathshala started on October 17, I was a little late due to my busy schedule. Still, I have always kept track of the pathshala and the children.

With my overall cooperation, they have started their education activities by providing some educational materials. However, the children here can also build their future. Since there is no school in the vicinity of the 500-room Khajurtola shelter, the children have come to the 'USSAS Pathshala' and have been able to learn how to teach at least a little, so I thank this USSAS organization. A proposal will be sent to DC Sir to set up a school here through this organization. Sir will definitely give priority to this great initiative.

Then the children will study here and in the next phase, they will be able to get admission in high school elsewhere. And this is not possible only for me and this organization if you, the guardians, do not cooperate. Blessings and love to all.
