UNO visits TR Kabikha development projects in Jaldhaka, satisfied with works

He inspected all the ongoing development works of the 4 unions of the upazila throughout the day on Thursday.
Upazila Project Implementation Officer Nahiduzzaman, Press Club President Kamaruzzaman, PIO Office Assistant Ruhul Amin and others were present.
The UNO visited the temple work at a cost of Tk 2 lakh 20 thousand from the TR allocation for the development of Hari Temple in Shalangram Adhikaripara,Ward No. 3 of Balagram Union of Upazila.
Later, he inspected the work of the 476 feet long and 8 feet wide CC road from the paved road adjacent to Kharija Golna Mosque in Ward No. 6 of Golna Union towards Rafiqul house. The estimated cost of this development work under the Kabita project has been fixed at 4 lakh 50 thousand 8 hundred 92 taka. The development and CC work from the house of Golna Tahidul Islam member of Ward No. 1 of Golna Union towards the river bank was inspected. Its length is 3 hundred 44 feet and width is 9 feet. The estimated cost of this development work under the TR project has been fixed at Tk 3 lakh 70 thousand. Under the cemetery development project of Golna Islamia Fazil Madrasa in Ward No. 3 of Golna Union, the boundary construction work was built at a cost of Tk 3 lakh 70 thousand.
On the other hand, the development and road construction from the house of BNP leader
Zahurul of Ward No. 2 of Golna Union towards the mosque. Its length is 3 hundred 88 feet and width is 8 feet. The rstimated cost of this project has been fixed at TK 3 lakh 70 thousand.

The tiling and set construction work of Baitul Jame Mosque in Ward No. 6 of Dharmapal Union was inspected. The estimated cost of which has been fixed at 1 lakh 20 thousand taka. The guide wall (palace siding) in the pond in front of the house of Zahir Uddin Sarkar in Ward No. 5 of Dharmapal Union was inspected. The HBB work of the road from Sardarhat to Gar Dharmapal Majhapara Government Primary School in Ward No. 5 of Dharmapal Union was inspected. The length of which is 3 hundred 16 feet and width is 8 feet, the estimated cost is 8.2 hundred 12 tons of wheat. In the meantime, the HBB road from Kherkati Hat in Ward No. 3 of Dharmapal Union to the road adjacent to the High School, which is 342 feet long and 10 feet wide, has been constructed at an estimated cost of Tk 3 lakh 80 thousand and the road from Nakre Hat in Ward No. 7 of Shimulbari Union towards the shrine has been constructed and CC road has been constructed, which is 210 feet long and 10 feet wide. The estimated cost has been estimated at Tk 2 lakh 26 thousand 750.
In this regard, Shaulmari Union Parishad Chairman Nuruzzaman said, the area where all these development works are being carried out under the TR project is undergoing extensive development. Khutamara UP Chairman Rakibul Islam said that the current PIO is a transparent person. We are sincere that he has allocated 100% of the funds under the TR Kabita and Kabikha projects for development works.
In this regard, Upazila PIO Nahiduzzaman said, a total of 165 projects have been accepted in Jaldhaka Upazila under the Kabita and Kabikha TR projects against which, the development allocation has been fixed at Tk 3 crore 16 lakh 84 thousand 6 hundred 74 and the foodgrain expenditure has been fixed at 2 hundred 35 metric tons.
I hope that 100% work will be done and if all these development-oriented works are implemented, it will be a milestone in the development of Jaldhaka.
After the inspection, UNO Zaid Imrul Mozakkin said, work on 165 projects under the TR project is going on in the upazila. I have visited all these works and I am satisfied with the works. As the area has developed, the locals have also expressed satisfaction and the development work will continue, the UNO added.
