Hundreds of people come to Jaintapur upazila every day as a tourist-rich township of Punyabhoomi Sylhet, known as Prakriti Kanna, consisting of 6 unions with an area of 266.11 sq km. Therefore, in the current information technology era, they want to promote and expand this region. He has already completed many branding works of Jaintapur. He joined as Jaintapur Upazila Nirbahi Officer on March 21 this year. 34 BCS Cadre Umme Salik Rumya joined the office of the first Sylhet District Commissioner as an Assistant Commissioner in the BCS Administration Cadre.

At that time, he gained fame as a very efficient, honest and humane officer to the common people of Sylhet. After working for about 4 years, he joined Bangladesh Safe Food Authority Dhaka as Executive Magistrate in 2021 from Sylhet.

In a private conversation, he said that bicycles have been distributed among the students to improve the quality of life of the small people of the upazila and to increase their interest in education. Gardens are being built in front of the Upazila Parishad, efforts are being made to build gardens in front of the Rajbari ruins. With this effort, the traditional Rajbari is getting a new look.

About 1000 tree saplings have been planted in different places of the upazila. He has started the waste management work through Nijpat Union of the upazila. Construction of the boundary wall and classrooms of Biam School is nearing completion. She has taken the initiative to make a garden and a rich library for children there. As there is no separate art building for cultural entertainment, efforts are being made to create a room for art and to make a children's park for children's entertainment.

In the populated Shapla Bill area of the tourism-rich upazila, along with the renovation work of the washroom, he installed filters and renovated the seating area. She has bought a boat for the upazila, which will enable it to reach people quickly in case of any natural calamity including floods. There will be public suffering which will be very helpful.

She said that in addition to conducting regular raids in the sand palaces of the upazila, as a border area, there has been strict surveillance and increased against smugglers in this upazila.

Stating that there is a plan to build upazila public library, arts and children's park for the larger interest of upazila residents, he said, I want to work for the people of Jaintapur upazila and for that I need everyone's cooperation. She has sought everyone's cooperation in his future success.
