Unidentified youth’s body recovered in N’ganj

Police have recovered the body of an unidentified youth (approx. 35 years old) from Bangabandhu Road in Chashara, Narayanganj. The body was found on Monday morning (June 16) near a petrol pump adjacent to the Narayanganj Press Club.
The body bore multiple injury marks. Locals spotted the body on the road at dawn and alerted police, who later recovered it.
Narayanganj Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime & Operations) Tarek Al Mehdi stated, “We have recovered an unidentified body from the Chashara area. Efforts are underway to confirm the identity. Once identified, the body will be sent for autopsy.”
